About the Military Legends Concert

Our Mission

Several of us veterans are hosting a high-profile concert to raise mental health and post-traumatic stress awareness within the veteran and 1st responder community.

Each of us has lost close friends to suicide, which is why we are doing this.

We want to encourage veterans and 1st responders to get out and socialize. We want them to meet others who may be experiencing similar challenges and form lasting relationships and prevent suicide.

One of the ways we're encouraging them to attend is to offer them free tickets to the event. Our goal is to achieve maximum participation.

To offset the operating costs, we are relying on sponsors and donors to help us.

So join us, it's free. But we do need the community's support through donations and sponsorship.

These bands are not your local cover bands! They are all national acts that play their original rock music. They are also ALL veterans who strongly support the veteran and 1st responder community.

Silence & Light

The 'founded by Special Ops band' is releasing their second album on June 23rd. Guitarists Brad Thomas, a 'unit' member and Jason Everman of Nirvana/Soundgarden, and Special Forces member have been strong supporters of the veteran community. They are sure to "ROCK" the house at the concert.

Weapon - X

Silence & Light

Marine Dan Clor of Weapon-X knows how to rock the concert as he's been doing it for years. He's had countless hits and collaborated with several high-profile musicians. The heavy metal sound of Weapon-X will surely get your blood pumping.

DAVE BRAY USA, another Marine, is a talented musician with a long history of musical success. He can be seen performing solo or as a band for large crowds across the country. He intends to open the concert with a dazzling and wildly entertaining performance to get the crowd excited for more.

Zeleny has performed sold-out shows at the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics (Russia), El Coliseo de Puerto Rico opening for Bon Jovi, Metlife Stadium, Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, Lollapalooza, Warped Tour, Prog Power Europe ... and counting. He has also tracked on over 135 records and toured through more than 21 Countries and 41 US States ... we stopped counting!

Silence & Light's recent single

They recently released a new single "Slinky" which has that classic 90's Seattle grunge scene sound. A perfect blend for the OIF/OEF veteran that knows the sound quite well.

Did you know that the other guitarist is Jason Everman, formerly of Nirvana and Soundgarden. Jason later enlisted in the Army to seek excitement and became an elite Special Forces member, aka Green Beret. It's where he met Brad Thomas and eventually formed Silence & Light. Fun Fact: Everman was a recent guest on the Joe Rogan Podcast.

Jason Everman sat down with Joe Rogan for several hours and talked about everything from playing with Nirvana and Soundgarden to being a Special Forces soldier in Afghanistan and other highly sensitive military operations.

Charlie Zeleny has played in many of America's most famed venues like Metlife, Lincoln Center, and Carnegie Hall. His talent has even spanned into international venues. Check out his warm-up session video as he prepared for a concert during the 2014 Olympics in Sochi, Russia.
